Photobook no's?
Does this turn you on?
There's nothing there! Yeah, I'd kill for her legs but definitely not her chest..
I think they should amputate Yui's chest and stick in on Airi. That way she'd deserve the compliments she gets for her figure.
BEEEEER BELLY.
At least she has a chest.
Watch out kids, she's coming for you.
While Julia may think she looks precious, I think she just looks creepy.
Maybe she'll join Micheal Jackson and Orochimaru on the quest for little boys(or girls).
"Guys guys! I don't think I can wait! Sorry if I ruin the yukata..."
That's all I need to say.
But I think I loved Maimi's photobook.
Photobook YES
Who ever put this bikini on her is a genius. It makes her chest look bigger than it is!
Yurina, you don't need to show us that you have nice boobs. I've already seen and I'm already jealous.
lol Julia
the ugly food makes her look prettier.
Yeah. This is yes.
And last but not least..
The most yes of all yeses.
perhaps he could out a nude photobook..
thanks.
ANTIC CAFE MEDIASPAM TIME
I wrote a whole thing but it deleted so screw that.
This song rocks. They all look hot. Even Bou. He sort of actually looks like a man. Teruki actually looks the best in this. Isn't that amazing?
Miku looks kind of like Willy Wonka which is actually kind of frightening. But he's still hot. Kanon looks great in this video. The storyline is hilarious IMO. and it's cute. I love the ending, Kanon and Teruki look adorable! and we can pretend bou x miku is KANON, (get it? ha ha)
The sound at the beginning of this is so cute and when me and Emi first heard it we could not stop laughing
... lol. Kanon has a low voice compared to the rest of them.
Antic Cafe
It's really hard to choose a favorite in AnCafe. I believe I'm not the only one who thinks that...
I mean, Miku is definitely good looking and hilarious, Teru is ... beautiful. Bou is adorable and Kanon is all of those things plus more.
Yeah, I chose Kanon as my favorite, but it took me an extremely long time to decide that.
Another thing, I'm only really for old ancafe. New ancafe is ok. just ok. for me, anyways.
Anyways. More on Kanon. How come hairstyles that seem horrible always end up looking amazing on Kanon? Sometimes he looks like he woke up after a very... very rough night... but he rocks the ...dirty old man look.
some pictures
I think this one is my favorite ever of them ^ from snow scene, my favorite song.
this one is cute.. xD
In this post, I'm going to take a look at what I think are Morning Musume's four best songs.
Obviously, the songs are older. Nothing from their new selections are really that appealing to me. While you can listen to them and perhaps buy them, they aren't as memorable as those who came out pre-golden era.
These songs include-
Renai Revolution 21-2000
The Peace-2001
Shabondama-2003
Ai Araba it's Alright-2004
Many would agree with me that Renai Revolution 21 is among the greatest hits of Hello! Projects history. It has a unique sound and a very unique video. The dance is original and not that hard to follow along with, also the song is fun to sing to. It jumps from one style to another, going from a uplifting pop-style chorus to the fun chou chou chou ii kanji! sound.
Am I the only one who thinks the hairstyles are amazing here? They sort of look like they walked out of a star war.
I can honestly say the PV for The Peace is rather unusual, but a PV hardly makes a song as amazing as it is. Even if the PV is unusual, however, the song is still amazing. The dance takes skill and lots of co-ordination and I hate to brag, but I can do it! Aha, foo's. I bet you're jealous... just kidding. Anyways, I love the sound. I'm british though, so I'm a tiny bit disturbed by the salute. Not to the point that I care. I just find it amusing that the salute they do is what the germans did in the time of WWII (unless my sources are wrong)
Again, the PV is weird so watch Morning Musume in civilian clothing dance to the amazingness that is the*peace
Shabondama is basically just a choreographed fit on stage. But the song is powerful and has a strong meaning and its pushing the boundaries of what we never thought Morning Musume could do. And watching the re-sings of it in concerts is great. Kamei head bashing to Yossie singing? I could get used to that. It makes me feel strong just being a girl.
Even though its a break-up song and the meaning doesn't sound like it suits the style...
Amazing performance, no?
I think I like Ai araba it's All Right because it's a very uplifting song. And it being Nacchi's last song makes me think of .. well, the fact that it sucks that Nacchi left.
But the PV is adorable, the outfits are cute, the song has a great beat and all of my favorite members are there, (except mittsi, but this song can do without her)
It's adorable, no? Rika even looks good.
Well sorry for the bluntness of this post, I wrote it in like ten minutes and I have to go to science now..
Well. I disagree with Julia (if you read her blog post about Mikan and her responses to each of the members) that Koharu even comes close to to idol image. I appreciate that she's trying and all, but she's just... not an idol. And its safe to say I dislike her very much.
People call Koharu the miracle member. I agree with that. It's a miracle that she got into H!P, it's a miracle that people like her and it's a miracle that she hasn't been thrown out for her lack of talent. It may sound pretty brutal but its honestly what I think. She can't sing at all... (I agree with Julia that Sayumi is getting better... right now even Sayumi's voice appeals to me more than Koharu's and that's really saying something) and she isn't really all that great at dancing.
But I can give her something. She can act. Which pisses me off because I want to hate her so bad.
I hope whoevers reading this is familiar with the performance of Ribbon no Kishi from back in 2006? Koharu played the prime ministers son. Now I know she's not the lead in the play but in this certain clip its easy to call her the lead.
Her character in the play came off as very cute and appealing to me, much like Makoto's character, 'Nylon', the assistant of Yossie the prime minister. Their goofiness was similar and their funny attitudes suited them well... They weren't showing the seriousness that the prime minister would expect.
Watching this video can put a smile on my face even after the 100th time. Koharu came across as extremely cute and her vocals weren't as bad as they usually are.
I think Makoto ... out-performed her completely but this isn't about Makoto. In the middle of a remake of an old anime they feel the need to burst into song about how they can remember the names of all the members in Morning Musume.
I don't do well at summarizing, but I think I should say that I strongly dislike Koharu but I love her character in the play. I could use that as my excuse?
and as a side note..
from watching ribbon no kishi, isn't that good proof that Yossie would make an awesome dumbledore?
This was supposed to be a H!P blog, so I should probably start posting with a little more H!P .
I juist have a few thoughts to express..
Another go at Mikan and a slight go at Takitty
Don't get me wrong, I adore Ai-chan. But I wonder how she feels about being the leader thats dug Morning Musume into the ditch for the first time in their jpop reign? This far into the ditch, anyways. I kind of pity her; the fans giving her a hard time, the bad sales...
Also. Where's our 9th gen auditions? No matter how bad the find is, I don't think Morning Musume can get much worse, so they might as well take the chance.
Another thing about the sales- isn't it a little ironic, that we're all downtrodden about Mikan's sales being in 28,000's, but so excited about C-ute's 27,000's? I understand though, because C-ute is so new... They're going to outsell MM on their next single probably, which is pretty weird.
Where the hell is Mikitty??
Did she jump off a cliff or something? We'll hear about it soon, I think/hope. Miki is slowly falling away from my list of favorites because of her inactivity. She graduated, didn't attend the summer con and now isn't attending the winter con, also, there's no news of a new GAM song or any other special unit. (Miki and Momo, mhm) .... The only news I have heard of her is that she was spotted in some video store and in the car with the boyfriend she was first friday'd with.
Hopefully I hear some news about it soon, this is killing me!
Buono
I love Buono. Lots. But I still don't understand their hairstyles. Airi should wear her bangs down. She looks cute that way. With them pinned back, she looks slightly alienated.
Miyabi has a weird shaped head. She needs bangs too. I'm glad she got some. Too bad they aren't in Honto no Jibun.
Momoko needs to ditch the combover, simple as.
More on haircuts...
Did you notice Mai's new style? it is SO cute. It makes her look like shes 6 again though. But I guess thats a good thing, we don't want the youngest member of C-ute losing her cuteness.
The person who showed me the Glitter/Fated single, got me into her kinds music.
and by that I mean, THE GOOD STUFF.
I don't know why I was never inspired to listen to these artists before. They haven't exactly been in the dark, I just haven't looked for chinese music.
Rainie Yang-She's just adorable. She jumps from style to style in all of her songs and I like that. She's got a unique voice and a great personality, and she doesn't only sing but she acts too
Lang Lai le is my favorite song by her by far. It's got the bad-girl sound and sadly, I have no idea what the lyrics mean because I'm not chinese. But give this song a chance, it is very good.
F.I.R-Now I'm not as fond of thos group as I am of Rainie Yang, but they have obvious talent. I think their best songs, though, are the ones where only the girl sings.
This song has a nice sound. Its the best one I've heard of them.
S.H.E- I don't really like these girls as much, but they can sing. I just don't really like their style that much. It's hard to get into their songs. But they have one song, where they use the tune from London Bridge is Falling Down. It's a great song!
Well I guess this is it for now! I'll update you when Wen and Lulu give me more kick-ass chinese music xD
Ayumi Hamasaki- Glitter/Fated review
I've never really been much for Ayumi Hamasaki. I only heard a few songs by her (more like two, Dearest because of InuYasha and Butterfly because of DDR) and to me, those did not sound very good because I wasn't really into Japanese music at that time and I developed an opinion of her that did not change for a while because I remembered her music as 'bad' so I had no motivation to look at any of her songs.
A few weeks ago at lunchtime, My friend Wen and I were listening to music on each other's iPods and while I was showing her Hello! Project, she was showing me her chinese music. Then she asked if I liked Ayumi Hamasaki. I scoffed and said, yeah, not really. She asked me to watch one of her newer music video's-Glitter-on the iPod. I said yes because I'm too nice to refuse a video.
I was drawn into the music video from the moment it started. I've always been a sucker for romance, and the way Hamasaki looked at her bodyguard (name? xD) really made me smile. Then the song started and I automatically decided this would be one of my favorite songs.
***********Spoilerish
Both the music videos of Glitter and Fated are a two-part love story that can be touching to everyone. In Glitter, she falls in love with her body guard in Hong Kong, and she speaks Japanese, so there is obviously some communication issues. Ayumi carries with her a translater and in the part of Glitter where the bodyguard saves Ayumi from falling glass, she says through the translator 'Thank you for saving me'.
It seemed like the body guard and Ayumi were reluctant, because a japanese idol in japan is looked down upon if they are seen with a boyfriend. (Any Hello! Project fan would understand this... ie Miki Fujimoto, Mari Yaguchi, etc). Towards the end of the Glitter music video, Ayumi and the body guard give in and allow themselves to be in love with each other. Ayumi gave the bodyguard a necklace that is significant to the second half, Fated.
It made me wonder, at the end of Glitter, when the van pulled up and Ayumi just walked away from the bodyguard. It was not until I learned that there was a continuation that I thought Ayumi just like, left him.
A moment that made me laugh was at the beginning of Fated. Her bodyguard like, gorilla-hugged her in front of a blown up picture of Ayumi's face. It was, to me, a reminder that their relationship was forbidden.
Ayumi told the bodyguard to meet her somewhere, and as she arrived to the place they were meeting (in a wedding dress, I wonder the significance of that) she discovered the necklace she had given him on the floor, and just before this she passed an ambulance.
The ending came as a shock to me. I am unsure if he died, but no matter what, she would probably never see him again. He was her bodyguard in Hong Kong, not Japan, and with injuries as such he would not be returning to his duties for a while.
I kind of hope for another continuation, because the story ended at a sort of cliffhanger. I'd like to know what happened...
Overall, the music video was very touching and unique (with no close ups or dancing! I love the H!P dances and close up's but this is a breath of fresh air sometimes) and enjoyable. If you take the time to listen and watch it, you won't be dissappointed.
So I guess I should make my first post on this blog interesting. And that's a little hard not to do considering everything that's been going on in H!P
Such as:
-The birth of Noa Sugiura.
It may be mean to say, but I think Noa is a.... not very nice name. I mean, she could have come up with something better. Noa makes me think of Noah's Arc. Which is in some ways a good thing?? But I hope people in her schools know who her mommy is because otherwise she might get beaten up at school. : (
Perhaps not. I have not grown up with japanese names, so to me this name seems weird, but to a japanese it could seem pretty.
-Aika Mitsui's new anime role
I'm not thinking much of it. This character doesn't seem very major so I wonder if she'd even be singing any songs. If she did, I doubt it would make a soundtrack. I hope I am wrong, however, because Aika really is growing on me and I want her to have some crazy big outbreak and everyone starts to love her. . . . .
I mean, she's just so cute.
-The disaterous sales of Mikan.
I honestly thought Mikan would be Morning Musume's big out-of-the-ditch outbreak. It's such an uplifting song with the members personal touch (not on the Joshi kashimashi monogatari level, but still) it's a very nice song. I think it should have sold more, but it didn't, and this is disaterous. Buono even outsold them.
I bet Tsunku isn't feeling very 'Hawt' right now.
I hope my next post has more.
AND THE 16 SAI NAME THING FOR MAIMI AND NACCHI'S NEW SINGLE SOUNDS BETTER THANKS. Too bad I don't have a cell phone nor do I live in Japan so I can't vote.
The producer is not me.
